The Together Outdoors Resource Hub exists to share resources dedicated to understanding how we can build an outdoor community where everyone belongs.
Primarily it is:
An interactive database designed to curate content (books, research papers, literature, toolkits, videos, etc) on topics such as the history of outdoor recreation and patterns of exclusion, recruitment and retention, marketing and partnerships, and others. Additionally, the platforms strive to showcase groups working to connect underrepresented communities to the outdoors.
A clearinghouse of resources related to inclusivity in the outdoors.
Ensure that resources remain accessible, relevant, and culture-shifting.
Why the Together Outdoors Resource Hub needs to exist
Together Outdoors Resource Hub serves as engaging and easily accessible home for outdoor industry resources to serve a learner at every level, whether they are new to inclusion related education or have immersed themselves in these topics for many years.
