Together we can do so much.

Our coalition is made up of organizations and individuals connected by a shared passion for adventure and united in their determination to ensure that all people have access to an outdoors where they are welcomed and respected.

Since 2021, more than 100 businesses, non-profits, grassroots groups and government agencies have joined the Together Outdoors coalition to help create a more accessible and welcoming outdoor environment. Together Outdoors advances this cause by providing members with learning opportunities, field experiences, and resources to support their unique journeys and to help members nurture systemic change throughout their organizations and the outdoors community.

  • Coalition members are encouraged to set goals within their organization to invest in community partnership and outreach programs, including Together Outdoors, that improve access to the outdoors.

Coalition members are encouraged to include goals and benchmarks for organization-wide learning and advancement of diversity, equity and inclusion priorities in the strategic planning processes. As part of this commitment, engage their senior leadership to champion these educational and programmatic initiatives.

Coalition members are encouraged to self-report their organization’s inclusion efforts and strategies to share Together Outdoors lessons on an annual basis

  • Each coalition member should appoint a representative to actively participate in bimonthly coalition meetings and take what they learn back to the organization.

All coalition members must have completed a signed engagement agreement form which signifies their commitment to advancing the mission, vision, and objectives of Together Outdoors.
